"Write down ten things you’re grateful for every day. On the hard days, it might be difficult to think of ten reasons to be thankful, but do it anyway: the hard days are the days when you’ll need this list the most. Feel free to include the big things (“I have food to eat”; “I have a roof over my head”), the little things (“I found a lucky penny”; “I saw a meme that made me laugh today”), and everything in between. There are no rules for gratitude lists; just pause, notice—and there are always reasons to smile, no matter how small—and write. It’s an awesome mood booster. Consider keeping the lists in a journal or a folder (or even in the Notes section of your phone) because they’re great to look back on during moments of adversity.
Write a letter to a friend or family member, and include a list of reasons why that person makes you smile, or send that person a list of your favorite memories together. It’s a fantastic way to be mindful of meaningful relationships—and it’ll make someone’s day!"
